Hey guys, I thought I'd try a smaller environment and focus on a concept rather than a larger environment. I'm basing this environment off of the work done by Ward Lindhout:
This will be really cool when done! I've not played the game, but is the monster at the end larger than a normal person? I think you should make the room wider.
I think you should play around with the scaling sooner than later. Blockout should be the first thing completed, to make sure everything fits together. Can you post a well lit rendered image of just the chair? I feel as though you're missing some of the forms of the chair. It's an important part of the image, and on closer inspection of the concept, the chair looks super old. The wood is gnarled and warped and curved.

Small update:
The colour for the door at the back is not final, just testing different colours at the moment
@Ashervisalis that's a good point, i'll have a play around with the scaling later on

The top one is the old chair, i tried to accentuate the shape of it a little more. The texturing on the new chair isn't final
