Hey everyone,
I was hoping to get some critiques on my Artstation portfolio. You can see it here:
https://www.artstation.com/mattkniftonI was hoping for pointers on if I am consistently going wrong anywhere. I am relatively new to being a 3D Artist professionally and want to try and present my work in the best way possible so any tips/crits would be greatly appreciated. I think some of my sticking points are:
- Quality of renders
- Material responses
- Posing
- I have other Dota 2 work which was accepted to the game but I'm wondering whether those should take precedence over my preferred Dota 2 work (which was not added to the game) For ref, they can be seen here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/MattKnifton/myworkshopfiles/?appid=570 (accepted items are marked with a green tick)
I'm quite happy to receive harsh crits so no need to hold back on anything!
Here's a quick snapshot of my work:
Thanks a lot for looking!
Matt

- The grey backgrounds gets a bit boring after a few clicks.
- Would be cool if Minotaur and Pigsy were posed.
Other than that, cool portfolio!
