Xgen No location found description error

I have been trying to use the preview on the guides I placed but it keeps giving me an error saying that there is no location found in the description. I'm new in xgen so I don't really know if I missed a step or how to fix this. The way I set up the scene is by making a new description, then in "Generate the Primitives" I select "At specified points", and in "Control the primitives by:" I select "Placing and shaping guides". Then hit create and place my guides.

Do you have created a Maya Project?
Could you post the path here?
