I guess my sand is too white since one of my collegue thought it was snow, I did show him on my phone at the coffee machine though. What do you think?

I could be wrong here, but I don't believe people would built structures on sand in medieval Europe?

Keep looks cool though. Love that grass too!

And to me this kinda looked like sand, wasn't going for realism anyway !

To me the concept looks like matted-down dying greyish-brown grass. Kind of like tundra grass or like a Scottish grassland in the winter. With the wood building, it reminds me of Rohan form Lord of the Rings.
Anyway, it's a pretty cool model. It could use a little more ageing and color variation if you are trying to match the concept closer. Otherwise it has a nice clean art style the way it is now. But I think the sand could be darker in color. The white sand looks a bit too Caribbean.
