Game-ready character that in most part I did during Georgian Avasilcutei mentorship program (https://www.patreon.com/nimlot) I feel like I have made big progress during this character and i want to recommend him as a teacher to everybody who wants to improve their skills in making game-ready stuff The main idea of her was based on this https://www.artstation.com/artwork/O2zKy concept that I tweaked a bit. Gun was taken from rmory studios https://www.rmory.net/portfolio/ascend/#prettyPhoto[gallery]/15/ Hair shader allowing me to vertex paint the hair cards I used in marmoset was done by Cody Alday https://gumroad.com/l/COnal Her body is body 80k triangles gun 15k and hair 40k (in the viewer file she has not optimized hair so it sums up to a bit more) I hope you guys like her
So this is technically pretty solid, you've got some nice material definition. The one thing that stands out to me with your presentation is her expression is kinda blank and she's just got her arms holding guns straight out. I think it would really add more life into this piece if you posed her face and also made her pose more dynamic. Specifically, getting more natural weightyness in the post would help a lot. Here are some examples of pieces with more dynamic poses/expressions that do this very successfully: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4Bae1 https://www.artstation.com/artwork/yb22eQ https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Z5DP9x
The one small thing that stood out to me is, why are her pants unzipped and why do they not have a button to hold the zipper in place? Some styles of pants don't have buttons, true, but generally those have a heavier-duty zipper and aren't partially unzipped.
Hey! Thank you for the feedback you are the second person that mentioned her face expression maybe i will go back to this and make her one finally also thanks for the links. About the zipper that is a good question xD i guess i just thought she will look cooler with unzipped zipper and didn't though if it would make sense or not :P
Really nice model but for me its missing the cyberlimbs. So this was my initial thought and then after looking at it I started seeing the data jack behind the neck and chest plate and the calf area looks like it has something thats mechanical, I think.
