[WIP] Borderlands 3 Shield Fan-art

Hi yall, It's been some time since I've made some art, due to work and playing (too much)Borderlands 3. While gaming, I have noticed that some of the best items/weapons were reintroduced from borderlands 2. But then again, some items did not make it into BD3. Back to the arting part. I wanted to re-imagine a shield from BD2 called the bee shield and re-design it as a fanart project. Without further ado here I go!

Also, credits to Max Davenport for allowing me to use his shield concepts.

Ok I decided to make two different colour sets

One to resemble the original colour palate from Borderlands 2

Added some razzle-dazzle to the yellow version, so it doesn't look dull.

What do you guys think? Should I keep or drop the animated textures?

I'm a fan of the black version, personally, looks very 'bee'/'honey' like. The fire texture looks cool but I think you could make it even more obvious. This is Borderlands! Everything is bigger and better, you can get away with exaggerating it a bit more
