See through walls and Frame loops ?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if there's a way to loop certain frames within an animation ( exported from max)in blueprints. I wanted a spinning blade to move into position only to start (and keep) spinning after. there's some small bits and bops that move initially while it's getting into position which is why i animated it in max rather than Unreal. What is normally the workflow on things like this ? 

My second question is a bit more complicated I guess but is there a way to make a wall see through ? If the player get's to close i'd rather have a part of the wall become transparent rather than the object behind it light up ( forgot which game I've seen it in) A quick example of what I mean can be seen in the picture below.
