We’re looking for a remote 3D Character Artist to create realistic-looking, animatable characters for an application developed for the Oculus Quest.
Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements
Deliver high-quality characters, clothing and related assets meeting set deadlines
Able to stay within defined poly budgets
Understanding of the limitations of mobile platforms and VR
Excellent PBR texturing skills
Expert understanding of how topology needs to flow for optimal deformation
Experience with Unreal Engine 4
Work autonomously with references
Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
A high degree of self-motivation and discipline
Available for communication via chat and video calls
Organize, estimate and update tasks in our planning solution
30+ hours availability per week
Bonus
Able to create character shaders in the UE4 Material Editor
Experience with texture masking and blending in materials
Experience with Perforce
Interest in VR and related technology
