Can you make a living as a retoucher?

Hi,
i was wondering can you make a living as a retoucher in photoshop? it seems it's in high demand but of course the price per retouching one photo is low. Do you know anyone who keeps food on the table and pay bills as a ratoucher ? or usually u need to do more work beside retouching such as photography and graphic design ?

Hi, maybe this is not the best place and you should ask in a photo-retouching board?
I personally don't know anyone who just does photo/image editing.

I did it from 2014-2018. You absolutely can. The work is TOUGH, because youre beholden to the whims of whatever ad company, or client you've got at the moment, but the work is generally steady ( provided you do a good job).
