COMPLETED MODEL
Appending the finished model to the first post. Follow up at the end of the thread.
ORIGINAL POST BELOW
In the process of learning blender and creating a environment art/props portfolio. Here's the blockout of the scifi military radio, Kepler Industries brand.
I'm following Simon Fuchs' military radio tutorial, but trying deliberately to change up the design to make it my own.
The Deadline I've set for it to be done and in-engine is Oct. 31, 2019. I hope to be done much sooner so I can respond to crits, but I'll be learning substance designer/painter, along with my day job.

Your model silhouette and proportions are really nice. I'm looking forward to see more of your progress, good luck!
The modeling is done, high and low poly are done. I've even got the UVs decent enough to do some test bakes in Marmoset. At this point I'm trying to get the UVs in a state where I can get detail where it's needed, such as on the knurling on the handles.
Far past my original deadline, and I made a lot of mistakes, but I'm still happy with this. I learned a lot, and by the end I decided that to really fix these mistakes means I need to keep upping my skills while tackling other projects. First up next is to do a few smaller, faster props with a similar style to reinforce what I've learned and test whether I can produce these at production speeds, focusing on making them game ready.
