Hello, i have a project to make a scene and i have to keep my tris as low as possible. My main interest is a simple chain or a rope that i don't want to use many polys and i would like to bake my mesh on a plane. What workflow do you like for that? Where are you making the bake?

You have to use a . PNG file as output. And use the same name for diffuse and alpha.
Maya will combine both.
