Substance Painter Blending materials question( fixed)

Hello Everybody

I have a question.I am trying to blend two materials.I am adding my first material and then above my first layer i add a second material and I add a black mask so I can paint or add only certain areas. When i do that both normal and height maps are transferred to my masked material.How can I avoid that ? I tried by changing the layers where there is base, roughness,height,normal and played with the overlay options but i didnt have much success.

    Found the solution.Was doing it right all along,( changing the blend mode to replace in both normal and height) but for some strange reason it wasnt working. Turned it off after a while, went back to it again to try new solutions and this time it worked.So all is good
