focusing only on 3d clothing

What do you think, can you do outsourcing freelance jobs only as 3d clothing artist (let's call it like that). So you can focus only on clothing for characters. I know there are not job positions like that but just asking because i saw some 3d grooming specialists on artistation, he did some hairs for horizon-zero dawn and this picked my interests because i think when you are focused on just one thing you are getting better and better on doing that.
