@allmighty_thunder Im honestly not much of a forum guy. Im trying to get into it, but i get distracted. Id like to communicate more with other artists, but I'm not sure where to start. I guess commenting on other people's threads. Any advice?
Also last night I re-rendered something I did earlier this year.
I rendered it in Cycles. Before I did it in 3ds Max with Vray. It was okay, but I figured it would be better of doing it again. Here's the old version:
The original concept is by Igor Rozovny on Artstation.
looks nice, i like the new version better for sure. I am not too much into forums myself but trying to get into it and figured this would be a good way giving most posts and comment just end up in the ether.
Thanks you guys @allmighty_thunder Yeah, I agree. Btw do you know a good place to read news and articles on CGI? I know here is a good place, but I'm trying to find something maybe more structured.
I'm gonna start writing more stuff here. I haven't been doing that really, because I'm incredibly busy at work. I work full time a mobile games studio and I'm also working on a long term project as a freelancer, so that eats up most of my time. I cant show either of them to you here.
So i decided to try to show small stuff, or ideas that I have. I'm not sure if that's gonna fit the Sketchbook section, but for now I'm gonna be writing here.
I guess I could start an actual blog, but who's gonna read that? Maybe someone here's gonna be interested in sharing experiences.
I recently bought a Wacom Cintiq 16 and my goal is to start sculpting more.
Today i finished a course on Pluralsight which you can check out here.
Its definitely not the best, but hopefully I'm gonna get better at it. Anatomy is pretty hard for me.
But yeah, I'm not sure who's gonna be reading it, but I'll be writing some relatively personal stuff here. But as an FYI I'm mostly interested in my work, getting better at it and generally improving my life. I assume at least someone's gonna be sharing my dumb daily thoughts haha.
As a mood for the day (i guess I'm doing that too) I'll leave this song.
