Career Advise - Should I take Cgma or Cg spectrum online course?

Hi, I'm Elias and I'm based in Cuiabá, Brazil. But I’ll move to Toronto, Canada soon. I work in an advertising agency as Art Director. But I’m studying 3d to become a Game designer. Although I don’t choose which specific area. My interest is in the Game design area, Character design but I feel more comfortable at beginning studying little Props and assets. I am working in graphic design since 2009. I have some skills in photoshop and painting techniques. I started studying 3d a little while ago as a self-taught. In spite of my plan is take some 3d course online, because I think it’s a good option to learn.

You can know my work here:

And here: https://www.behance.net/degasperi

I don’t have so many pieces of work but I am very dedicated and studious, even work 9 hours a day I study over 20 hours a week. Feel free to follow my work and add if you want to talk.

If you can afford it, yes. There's nothing in CGMA classes that can't be learned for cheaper to free, but getting consistent high quality direct feedback should lead you to grow at least a bit faster than you would otherwise. I can't speak to CG Spectrum, but all the CGMA classes I've taken have been excellent.

CGMA is very solid.  I used to teach for them and I knew a few of the other teachers and they were all industry vets.  But as Melon mentioned, you can still find a lot of that info for free or through cheaper avenues like gumroad or artstation.  One piece of advice, your artstation says "art student/art director" which I would change if you are trying to get into games.  I get that you were an AD for advertising but this means very little in games.  You don't really want to mislead anyone you are applying to.
