Hey Polycount! Wanted to upload some stuff from our recently released game, Remnant: From the Ashes. I was personally only involved in world building, unless otherwise called out. That statement feels worth mentioning, given that this was a huge group project with too many people to thank. But I personally feel like the team at Gunfire Games did a pretty good job.
*I'll separate areas by posts so this doesn't get crazy convoluted.
Here is the boss arena for "Shroud", set in a sewer dungeon. Had to work closely with level design when the layout started to change after the art pass.
I did a lot of the subway dungeons but was pulled off to work on another project in the studio. When I returned, some other artists went in an added root splines and red lights that really helped boost the atmosphere!
I was responsible for the architecture, propping and placing man-made lights.
This is the nuclear reactor part of the main player base and one of the first enemy encounters in the game. Lots of holes in pipes and walls for enemies to spawn
Here is the arena for the final boss on Corsus. Since the map is symmetrical, I spent some time on the vistas so the player could stay oriented a little better.
