Hi All,

I'm making my first modular environment in UE4.22.3 and I came across an issue when lining up assets together. I seem to be getting a dotted shadow line. I'm not sure what could be causing this. I've moved assets around a bit and rebuilt lighting, btut no success. I've also alligned my objects using other viewports.
I'm fairly new to this engine as well.

Please let me know your thoughts.
I've attached images as well.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply! I'm currently looking into it and will let you know if that's the issue.

So I've done some research into those lightmap UVs you mentioned. Currently, I'm wrapping up my block out and none of my assets are UVed yet. Once I have the low poly version modeled, I'll Uv them. I also noticed there's no "Generate lightmap UVs" checkbox in the current setting for any object that's imported into UE4 (vers. 4.22.3). I know UE4 auto generates those lightmaps by default, but I think not having them Uved is the main cause.

That could be it. The auto generate option generates the lightmap uvs from an existing uv channel. It can't unwrap things, it basically just repacks the existing uvs so they don't overlap.
