VFX Work on a Low/Mid Budget Science-Fiction Comedy Television Series entering
post-production.
This is for Remote/Off site work
Premise:
When two robbers, friends with a troubled past, break into a house they
discover that the tenants are actually aliens in disguise as humans. The spear
tip of an invasion of earth! But over the course of one night, the humans and
aliens must work together to stop not just an invasion, but the destruction of
the planet!
Short (1-3 month) and Long Term (5-8 month) or longer positions available, starting September 23rd 2019
Positions needed:
Compositor(s)
Job Description: Compositing CGI elements into live-action footage (Rendered 3D Models, Stock Elements, Green Screen Plates, etc) at photo-real matches. For CGI rendered assets, multiple render passes will be provided (VRay rendered to EXR sequences) In many cases a large quantity of reference photos and assets will be provided including reference lighting passes of real-world physical props that match CGI assets.
Ideal hires are familiar with Nuke or After Effects for compositing. We are open to other composite software solutions (Combustion, Flame, etc) based on quality of work and further discussion.

3D Matchmove Artist(s)
Job Description: Delivering accurate real-world scale 3D tracks for 3DsMax for footage provided, or 3DsMax files with accurate camera moves, scale, and motion for footage provided. 3D representations of environment in footage will be provided for most shots.
Ideal hires are familiar with a major 3D Matchmove Application (Syntheyes, PF Track, 3D Equalizer, Boujou [legacy]) We are open to other matchmove solutions based on quality of work and further discussion.
