Good ways to capture many complex structures to reassembe them for visualisation!?

Hello :)

I'm looking for a solution to capture complex mechanical parts from the real world to reassemble them digital.

The options I'm aware of are photogrammetry and CAD-scanning. Are there more possibilitys and which one is the most practical method for visualisation? For the visualisation i prefer Maya.

Are there common workflows? I'm mostly into game art and this subject is new to me.

It's been a while since my last post here and i don't remember my old account, but this forum and community is the most reliable i know of!
