Hi!
I decided to participate in the Artstation challenge, here's my
entry (I will be updating this post as well)
I'm learning to model hard surface stuff (any tips would be great!) and also learning to sculpt in Blender (I just downloaded 2.8 and it looks awesome!)
Not sure if I should do it as a stylised PBR model or a handpainted one (though this second option sounds better to me)
I was creating the model from scratch, but it didn't look too good so I decided to break the proportions down and start all over again
Blocking the body and looking at the proportions/shape of the character
I'm having some problems when modelling the shoulder and arm piece. In the concept, it has some stripes and I am not sure how to get that right when modelling, so I will probably redo this two parts.
As always, any feedback and critiques are appreciated ♡

So happy I finished it! I wanted to push myself with armour and handpainted textures, so I decided to do this character for The Leyend of King Arthur Artstation’s challenge! I left some links below including the concept artist’s artstation so make sure to check him out as well!
