Answered: Free assets doesn't get marked as owned after downloading

Why is that when you download a not free megascans asset, and if later it becomes free, it will show the "owned" mark on it in the free assets category. But when you don't own it and it becomes free, and you download it then, it won't be marked as owned in the free category. This makes kinda hard to track which assets I downloaded. I guess it also doesn't appear in your owned category, but this is just a guess, I haven't tested it. This happens on the website by the way.

Our Free asset library doesn't allow for acquisition of assets - not in the traditional sense of "once you download this asset, it's marked as yours for the future" as with other assets in the library. They're primarily meant to be trial assets for demo purposes, but can also be used with paid subscriptions. The Free section changes on occasion, so make sure you've downloaded what you want from it - it'll eventually change!

Hello @Synaesthesia. I know that it has a rotation. I have a paid subscription, and I just want to avoid that later I  re-download those for points (for money), if I already downloaded them when they were free.  Please let me know if this isn't the correct way to think about this.
