Portable desktop with ryzen cpu?

I hate laptops and never need a computer working from batteries on my laps.  Still I need one which I could take with me in a scanning trip or abroad  that could work from a regular power source and connect to TV in hotel or something?     Something like Mac mini   but PC with AMD Ryzen multicore cpu  with 64 gb RAM, cheap small GPU  which I could use in a car  with a Windows screen tablet maybe .  Maybe not so small as mac mini but still not being a totally useless toy like most of laptops.

Is it possible somehow?   Some portable case and power unite?   Or it's just impossible and it will die from overheating ?

Other options that I know are only notebooks or small desktop.

Thanks guys. Thant backpack looks like intel only and I want threadripper . The one from pcworld still pretty bulky to take with in a plane.

would work with threadripper and cheap small gpu or it's unrealistic expectation?  

Some motherboards looks so tiny  but I guess it's mostly PSU and cooling that would be a puzzle

The Raven case fits a full sized power supply, says right in the description. There's also cases that need SFX-L or SFX power supplies which are smaller. The ncase m1 might be my favorite case that could easily fit in a backpack or under your arm. The Raven isn't exactly small.

Won't get mac mini small but you can definately make it portable. What's your budget? Which threadripper and GPU would you like?

32 core 2990wx  of course. GPU is something  cheap GF 1070.     Looks like there is no even mini ITX motherboard for it.   MAc mini is portable and they did a new ones with more RAM still it's mostly a toy that will  collect dust like an old one I already have.

Ncase m1 seems promising, thanks  ZacD ,  still a bit too big.   Wonder why nobody try to produce a laptop with desktop cpu irrelevant to power efficiency and battery capacity.   Sure battery space could be replaced with a nice cooling system

You could get a small sized pc for this, but i would lose the idea of working away from a hotel. A battery powered supply for the type of pc you are mentioning would way to crazy to travel with, a better idea might be an inverter running off the 12 supply of a car or maybe even renting a small generator locally.

People have some truly crazy builds on there.

You would probably be limited to 32GB total ram for the time being since ITX boards only have 2 slots, though there are double height ram modules which would give you 64GB total, but it is a hacky sort of workaround that is only possible with certain ASUS motherboards.

Personally I would have a cheap laptop to review my shots in lightroom or something and then process the files when I get back from the trip.
