If you set up OBS to record the desktop it will record everything that happens. That means that it will also capture the software that you are using.

Not free but I've been using Camtasia for tutorials for years. The benefit is that it goes straight to editing/producing/upload without the need of additional software.

The only downside of OBS it doesn't shot fps counter or recording circle (other than in tray), if you dont need it I think it's good software.
