I'm trying to get back into the habit of working on my own projects again. Decided to reboot this old model from 2007
https://andrewliddle.artstation.com/projects/Y13ew using modern tools and workflows.
High poly is pretty much done and I've started playing about in Substance Painter. Modelling was mostly done in Max with a few of the complicated parts done in Fusion 360 and then exported as meshes via MOI3d

The one issue I think it suffers from though is the paint being over-worn in spots. Like I very much doubt the black stripe near the top of the engine would become that worn out, or that the middle of the railings would have the same level of wear as the areas people put their hands or brush up against with their feet. But overall it's a great piece.
Thanks for the comment mate. 👍
Like PolyHertz said I think some of the wear high up on the model looks a bit weird (green), it seems a bit weird to have that much wear in such a high up spot.
I assume you were going for rain "marks" around the cabin (red) but it doesnt really work for me. It's very apparent close to the cabin but it seems a lot more subtle on the other areas you'd expect it to be such as the hook on the back. I think you could either remove the rain effect all together or make it stronger
