Hi guys. A few months ago I decided to make a Jurassic Park VR scene in my spare time. It's been ridiculously slow going, because I also decided to learn new programs like Fusion 360 while making the project, and that really made everything slooow but it's starting to pay off now that I have the hang of it. I wanted to do nearly everything myself, I used a rain asset and some quixel plants so far, and am starting to realise just how ambitious doing this all on my own is in my spare time. I really enjoy it though, honestly wish I had more time for it!
My original goal was to faithfully re-create the entire scene and match the timings as closely as I could. I'd animate the T-Rex and make it so you can switch between perspectives of the main characters. I don't know what the project will end up being at this point, but I'm enjoying it anyway. Here are some progress pictures.
Here's some updated work. It's very slow because I usually have only an evening or two a week to dedicate to the project, but slowly making progress! Nothing is finished, but open to constructive feedback if anyone is unsure about some choices.
