I have directly started modelling character in 3ds max . I want to create a character with good topology which I can further use for animation if required. But I am having a hard time creating one . This is how long I have came now . I am not getting good edge flow on my model. I have started getting to much confused , as I tried to understand topology from different artist .
Here it is what I have done so far..
But I am not sure how fine this is ...

for me side view is requiring some attention.
Take most suitable side view female model as a background and try to accommodate to this silhouette.
Front / back views seems to be ok.
Anyways thank-you for the attention on this thread

For example
I did a mini paint on the torso to show you what I mean. The current torso looks extremely hunched back and the pelvis is not lining up right. This will cause a lot of confusion as you compare the front and side views. Make sure everything lines up as right as possible.
I advise to google for animation or game body topology. Some follow muscle structure
while others are simplified
Figure out how well deformed you need the model to be in animation, then start with the needed edge flows and work from there.
