Hello everyone. I wanted to share screens of mp5 with wood furniture which im working on. im not very experienced 3d artist, so i would appreciate any tips. Low poly has 18k trix without scope. With scope is 22k. Do u guys think the gun is too thin? Or its ok ? Should i kick something else from low poly and only bake it from high poly? High poly low poly
Low poly without wireframe references And my question about parts which im not sure if i should keep in low poly. But i think i should. Cuz their geometry sticks out too much from the rest of the geometry, they are not flat, so i think i should keep them in low poly.
Your materials need some work, they dont look like the reference yet.
i ve done some work on them today. Maybe u could take a look once more and say if they are any better Or anyone else i tried to improve wood parts, i made some normals , i changed plastic material and lowered/hide damages on most of the metal parts. As before, any feedback appreciated
Something about wood always makes weapons look cool.
Overall the weapon looks good, though I think you "over lowpolified" the lowpoly of the scope.
Ya man. Thanks for that point. I improved it little bit. Low poly was not matching high poly good enough. I moved it little bit. baked and now its better
I improved textures little bit again. Improved lower receiver (with this plastic/rubber). Now its less damaged. I think im gonna be doing final renders soon. Thanks for help, any feedback is still appreciated
I liked your work, I'm still beginner to the gun modelling and Texturing..so I'm not here for giving tips or tricks but i'd like to say that you did a great job 👍
