Hello everyone.
Here is my another project, this time I've decided to
make ninja turtle Raphael. I'm big fan of TMNT, especially of the TV
series from 2003.
My goal wasn't realsim/hyperralism as you can clearly
see, I just wanted to make him cool looking with some semi-realistic
proportions etc.
I hope you'll like this and give me some thoughts!
-sculpted in Zbrush,
-retopo, UV and rigg in 3D's Max,
-textures in Substance Painter 2018,
-bakes, shading and rendering in Toolbag 3.
There is 1 more texture set for teeth but it's not so important.
Head size was decreased comparing to sculpt.

I like that he has a pronounced nose. I like the raised scarring on his skin in contrast to the battle damage of the shell.
I think the mapping of the shell should be different than other items. Right now it has a leathery feel very much like his belt. Also the shell is more cartoony than everything else. It has a bit of an inflated doughy feel.
