For this image I sculpted a mini 3D kit bash set and painted on top, mixing multiple render passes. I find this mixing process to be a lot of fun for me, a lot of painting but almost no photo bashing.

Wow, I really love the sense of grandeur and scale. The light and shadow makes the vault look foreboding. The simplicity of the palette and shape design also give it a nice, formal unity.
