Hello everyone!

This is a little challenge a put myself through.
I'm used to modeling and texturing environments, not characters,  but I'm ready to get out of my confort zone and for that I need your most sincere feedback!

So, here are some images of what I'm aiming for and what I have so far. It's mostly blocking. I don't want to progress any further until I'm very sure of the proportions and silhouettes.

I'll keep posting my progress and hopefully we can all have some fun laughs at the end of this project.

I'm very excited to hear all of your notes!
Thank you very much for your time, guys!

I'll make justice to all of your comments! c:

This is te concept I choose, by Artists Loish. Here's her IG: loisvb.

Here are some screenshots of the blocking. I'm thinking about making the hoodie in Marvelus. Not sure about the short and the shirt, yet.

And here are some screenshots of the hair blocking and the head polishing in Zbrush.

Again, thank you very much and can't wait for your comments! c:

    Hey looks cool.
I like the proportions you modeled. Really no major crits. I reckon you nailed the shoe shapes on the skates. Perhaps the shorts could go up on the outside a bit more. The face is nice but I miss the sexy/cuteness of the structure in the sketch compared to what you have modeled. In the models she looks a little grumpy. Perhaps that has to do with the eyebrows and lips. The Loish eyes seem more comic cat like and the mouth in your sculpt is quite pursed. Perhaps less realistic detail and more comic simplicity is needed.

    Real nice work man!

Brian "Panda" Choi high dynamic range
Raise her arms to a higher A or Tpose straight up.  Makes rigging less of a hastle when you don't have to have the arms fight for the skin weights on the legs.  even if you're not going to rig it, this practice is to make your rigger's life better.

She does looks a bit mad, hehe, to capture the likeness of a concept is always tricky,  isn't it?
But you're right! I need to simplify her features. Thanks for the feedback! I'll do that! c:

True that, we gotta love our riggers!
I'll fix that pose. Thanks for your feedback! c:
