Learning Hard surface for making armor in Zbrush

Hello,

i'm new here, i'm trying to learn Zbrush, i'm kinda confortable with organic sculpting (not very good but i can do things) but for hard surface, i know hpolish and a few other brush but i still suck and i don't even know how to start to make an armor.

i want to know for you what is the best course that could help me for hard sculpting ? i have heard about zmodeler, i don't know if i need to learn this or if it's not the first thing i need to learn, i have the last version of zbrush and there are a lot of tutorial that are kinda too old.

i tried to google what you say and i don't see much result, there is a video called Epic Games and ZBrush at SIGGRAPH 2013 - Part One

on youtube, there is also part 2 and 3 but they don't show any workflow i think.

are those videos you're talking about deleted ?

musashidanmcgrath (also a member here) has good videos covering hard surface in zbrush videos.

Pavlovich is the Zbrush guru. He has a good intro to zbrush series but also several practical projects to make weapons and sci-fi suits.

oh yeah musashidanmcgrath's video looks awesome and not expensive,

i started pavlovich zbrush intro (the free one) and i'm near the end of it, i've learned a bunch of stuff but the video is old i guess he is using an old version of zbrush, it's where i learned those hpolish and trim dynamic brush that is very cool for hard surface.

I also have a lot of free ones on my YT, but honestly, they're all a few years old, but the techniques are still valid.

Pav is THE man when it comes to ZB.

Recently found Pavlovich's channel. Amazing tutorials indeed. He goes straight into action and gives the information you need. No fancy intros.
