Windows 10, Pen and Ink and Wacom Bamboo tablet

I'm having terrible problems getting my Wacom Bamboo tablet running properly with W10 - the dreaded circle visual effect.
I can disable it by unticking 'Use Windows Ink' in the Wacom settings (Pen Mode > Mapping), but this overrides the sensitivity settings in Photoshop. If I reactivate it, I get the circle -every- time I apply any pressure to the tablet in PS. I also get other unwanted behaviour. This didn't happen in previous versions of W10, and W10 assumes I'll only be using a tablet with my finger to browse Facebook, and not a Wacom tablet making art in PS.
Is there any way of disabling this crap completely (Windows Ink) and just use the Wacom settings? Thanks
