read the article, still having issues with image uploads... don't worry, it's probably just my old browser.
so I can add a link to an image here:
    http://www.graphicproduction.org/images/forum_images/occupation/occ1.jpg

but If I try your upload widget it fails here:

    Hmm, works for me.

Please describe, step by step, how you are attempting to embed an image.

    Hmm, works for me.

Please describe, step by step, how you are attempting to embed an image.
    Click on new topic,
    Input topic test,
    add text,
    click on insert image icon,
click on radial button "Choose Files,"
navigate to image on my computer via drop down,
    select image,
text identifying image appears in small drop down window,
    hit enter on my keyboard,
drop down window doesn't go away, just sits there,
no upload button or continue button,
    Attempt # 2
    click on insert image icon,
click on radial button "Choose Files,"
add url of images located on my server
    hit enter on my keyboard,
drop down window still doesn't react.
    Post for help,
get a reply with image of Guerrilla feet and hand ( don't know what that is about) will let it go for now.
    reply back and forth,
    read rudimentary forum rules,
    reply verifying comply,
    repeat upload steps, failed again,
    post direct link to image,
process works, ask to delete thread,
    thread still here,
    get reply,
"Hmmmm, works for me", (still not for me)
    asks for step by step
    Step by step provided.

Thanks for this. Chimp foot was just something I had on my Android phone, no meaning there haha.

Could you please provide specs for your computer? Operating system, hardware basics (cpu speed, ram amount, graphics card), browser name + version, display resolution. Thanks!

Yeah I know what you mean, I keep images of Camel Toes on my phone too.
It's cool, I already said it was probably my computer, twice

I have an old computer 2007 out dated OS no browser support. iProblem is on my end, thanks, So if you can delete this thread that would be cool, no sense in taking up space on the server for nothing. :)

We don't like to delete threads, as the answers tend to help others.

But we will delete if there's an old post you're really embarrassed about, or there's something offensive to deal with.

If there's anything like this, please email us at helpdesk@polycount.com and we'll be happy to help.

Chimp foot is inspiration for a drawing in my sketchbook, feel free to check it out if you have a minute.

Well then by all means keep the thread, I am sure it will be helpful to new people who drop by and are new to the community.
it will give them some insight.
    Peace
