Hi! Here's a personal project of a German Reichsrevolver that I've made. It's a first weapon that I've ever made as well as it's a first complete project using Zbrush. The main target of this project was to learn Proboolean workflow as well as Zbrush itself. I'm glad how it turned out but I think It could be done better.
Some technical stuff:
I used 3DS Max for basic modeling and retopo. Zbrush for final sculpt and smoothing the edges. Marmoset Toolbag for bakes and Substance Painter for texturing.
The gun has 11,1k tris and a single 4k texture map. The 2k map works well but I've wanted to capture all the detail. The bullets have 6x216 tris and a single 256 map. I would have packed them together but I've decided to add them when the gun was already finished that's why they are on separated maps. I would appreciate any feedback!
