Trying to get in the habit of tossing my random modeling and rendering doodles up here.
Feel free to add your critiques/comments.

Kinda revisited and old project today. Made a weird looking bike years ago with some... interesting design choices. Now looking back on that piece with way more knowledge and understanding of bicycles I felt the urge to make a new piece for the sake of comparison (and maybe for the portfolio).
Tossed some quick materials on lookdev, but feels pretty naked without a single sizing mark/trade.

Roughed out some tubes for the general geometry for the frame, got much further on the rear hub.

Finished up the wheels as well as the cassette; moving into detailing the frame. Explored a few ways of doing the lugs but wasn't particularly happy with them so I resolved to using booleans coupled with the remesh technique. Seems to be the only thing that will keep the big fillets intact. Still need some changes to the thickness of the lugs, but their overall shape is just about there.
