Symmetry problem? -Maya, quad draw-

Whenever i touch one side it till suck too the middle, like the symmetry is off or something im not sure how to go about fixing quad draw its such a temperamental tool. effectively when i touch one side they both high lite blue like im going to grab both, but then it will only grab one side and fling it into the middle like you see here. this only happenes near the center of the mesh?

Your symmetry is slightly off. You can try symmetry by topology, or you can go to the trouble of resymming your mesh. Looks like this mesh came out of zbrush -- and one thing that happens a lot in zbrush is the symmetry getting slightly broken if you are using transform gizmo at all and forget to either turn on or off symmetry.

However, if only a few small areas are off, just leave them empty, fill in the rest of your mesh, and then you can bridge those holes in manually at the end.

Alternatively, you can just retopo half the mesh. At the end, snap your ccenter edge to origin and then mirror. This will keep things running smoother too. Also also this gives you mirrored and stacked UV's, which you likely don't want but if you do its nice way to automate that.
