Hey,
I was wondering whether anyone knows of a workflow, plugin, hidden feature, whatever that would allow me to polypaint on multiple subtools at the same time.
I have a full figure creature sculpt and have managed to merge most of the subtools into one; except for the head (which is 12 million polys on its own). I can't merge the head with the rest of the body as the head has 5 subdivisions and the rest of the body has only 4; so if I merge them, the head will be dropped down to 4 subdivisions and lose detail.
I want to be able to polypaint the creature all in one hit so that there is full colour/texture continuity.
I was hoping the new folders feature would allow for this but alas, no.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to achieve my goal; in ZBrush.
Thank you for any of your thoughts....
Erwin
Yeah, it's based on a tutorial by Peter Konig but I got a bit carried away with the details; it's all for learning anyway and detailing is still something I struggle with as I don't want to just slap alphas all over my sculpts (I use alphas, of course; but not exclusively..).

Easiest solution might be to delete the lowest level of the head so that it has 4 subdivisions too. If you need that base topology for whatever reason, then you can always detach the head and reconstruct the lowest level whenever you're done painting.
It's under the geometry tab...
