setting hotkeys - 3dsmax - Unwrap UVW

hi, i would like to know how am i supposed to set hotkeys for actions i do in Unwrap UVW. A post i found was turn on macro recorder and then set it in drag and drop hot key. but it doesn't work and it gives me an error. 
flatten mapping for instance or group uvw islands 
any help is thankful.

In your hotkey editor set the Group to Unwrap UVW, that will have most of the actions you need access to.

ok i found some of them, but how about having others like flatten mapping ? isn't it possible to do ?

Does Flatten Map/ Flatten Map Dialog not work in that Group? A lot of those things are not named exactly as they appear in the menus.

actually the flatten map dialog or flatten map does not function.

Oh well then that's a whole different problem can you post a screen of your UV window and your modifier stack? Make sure that "Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle" is turned on. It looks like an up arrow on your top bar. 

What keybind are you using for that hotkey? Do you have a selection in the UV unwrap? Are there any other keys with the same hotkey that may be causing an interference?
