What is going on here? Designer bug?

I made a new graph in Designer and every single time, it gives me this. This is driving me bonkers and I just want to move on with my work so if anyone can help... I would appreciate it. The only thing on the graph is a few uniform gray-scales to control roughness, metallic and color for visibility.

Well, It fixed itself after restarting the software and switching between graphs multiple times....

If you can reproduce it then log a bug with allegorithmic.

You need to attach a normal node to your normal output. Currently your normal output is an empty (0,0,0,0) texture, which creates this type of banding artifacts.

What is going on here? Designer bug?
