Maya-Cut UVS according to Hard edge

Hi is there any script where I can cut my UVS according to the hard edges in Maya?

use the selection constrain to select hard edges.
or use the auto seams feature in cut hard edges mode.

There's an option in the "auto seams" function to cut along hard edges.

The inverse is also possible. You can make your hard edges along uv seams using the texture borders option in "soften/harden" function
