[SOLVED] Zbrush Color Spray Introduces Wacky Red, Green, Blue colors

Hi,

I'm following a tutorial, and in it, he sets the color with just a dark brown color. So I set mine. However, when I paint mine, it introduces this wacky red, green and blue colors. The author also uses color spray with no modified options

Do you have a link to the tutorial? It might just be vastly outdated. AFAIK default Colorspray is designed to introduce additional hues into the result, which is what sets it apart from the normal Spray and gradient options.

Color spray uses random colors. If you just want to paint in random spots with variations of same color use "spray" instead.

Thanks for the response! I managed to figure it out. Still the same options as above but this time, instead of using a mouse, I used a pen tablet. Works as expected!

There are options for the stroke mode. Turn down the color variance in color spray to kill the hue changes. If spray has too much value change, same thing, turn down the color variation.
