I kept thinking this is the culmination of a lot of Art Center, Otis, Gnomon, etc. artists' personal work turned into wrought films. Such a . . . niche set of styles I recognizse as a colleague that I wonder what the general public makes of it.
This is like watching those sci fi designer toys you see from threeA in action.
i loved it - the russian one especially looked incredible. (to the point where I'm now sick of making crappy low fidelity games and want to colour in a proper movie)
there has been much raving about it at the office too.
Love the visuals. Watched the first three episodes so far, they are visually stunning and inspirational. Script-wise however, all three so far just felt a littletoo much like they were written by angsty teens who figured throwing around a tonne of swears is cool.
I'll definitely be watching more though! There's plenty more episodes to go, looking forward to seeing each one.
Is there going to be a season 2, if so, will each episode be like a episode 2 of the different films shown in the season 1. I haven't watched it yet but have seen some shorts/clips on youtube.

That's not completely impossible, but I'd be surprised. Most likely a second season, if there is one, would just be a new set of shorts.
Man, some of these eps could be a great concept for a full blown tv series, although some are definitely perfect as a short stories. Havent watched all of them yet, saving it for the moment. My favourite so far was "Good Hunting" in term of the world, story, and characters. I just didn't expect how the setting goes from a mild one, into a full blown awesomeness. Sweet.
Art was super great as wel, ALL OF THEMl, a feast for my eyes. Hope there were more.
Definitely hitting the uncanny valley a bit too much for my own personal tastes, would rather see a bit more stylized approach like Sonnie’s Edge and The Witness instead of Shape-Shifters, Beyond The Aquila Rift, Helping Hand, and Lucky 13.
Still I love shorts, they are so much fun and have much more personality than your typical movie or TV show. Please keep putting content like this out Netflix.

I think a lot of the episodes could easily expand to whole shows or video games, I hope they get to do more with it.
A lot of the stories seem to be a bit edgy for the sake of being edgy though?
