[WIP] Wattle and Daub advice

Hi there Polycount,

 

Currently working on a Wattle and Daub texture for this medieval scene I’m doing, I’m looking to improve it but I’m having trouble looking for a direction to improve the results so far.

 

The scene I’m doing is modular so the texture us going to be painted with a plane layer and then a damaged layer for other parts to break up the tiling. The only issue I have at the moment is currently getting that damage to look natural. I’m rather stuck on this as I’m stuck on how to go about it.

 

The modular idea for this is basically, the painted part being changeable in colour within UE4, and then the damage can be painted in.

 

Any advice would be much appreciated!
