Took a break/holiday over the last 2-3 weeks and now I'm back at it!
I updated the first post with my new references and the latest WIP. The sculpt is getting near final now. I intend to add more leaves on the shoulder piece but I'm going to do so in the low poly for my sanity's sake to save with UVs. I've also decided to add the details to the wings in the texture process.
Going to now move onto all the fur and smaller details!
Really like the dynamic of the character, I think the face might need a little more love since it's also the first thing people will look at.
I hope it's alright that I did a quick paintover, easier to show stuff this way:
- Fill in some of the face's areas to make it more organic
- Bring the hole "snout" back (upper is new)
- Holes for ears on the hood
- Soften transition from neck to head (not 100% sure how this looks if you rotate the model but now it kind of seems like the head is a separate subtool.

Thanks a heap for the paintover and feedback! I knew something was up with the face and this helped me pinpoint it!
Small update: - Retopod the whole head and cleaned up areas - Retopod leaves and added them all over shoulder - Fixed some hair clipping issues and just made it lay nicer in the hood - New Buckles and belt details - Added Ear holes
The surface quuality looks too clean for a finish. Unless this is a specific departure from the WoW aesthetic, there's some off hues and bits of noise that could be added to the clothes to give it all a little more body.

- Worked on the shoulders some more. Calling them done. Any further detail/fixes will be in the textures
I've finished the topo and an in the process of unwrapping/baking!
