We are hiring for multiple levels, from junior to senior, so there's no need to get hung up on the title; at Climax Studios we are all about our team. You are able to provide us with examples of beautifully constructed characters, clean geometry, texture and material work. For the more senior roles a number of years experience as a Character artist in the industry with a published game to your name would be marvellous to see.

As part of our Character Art team, you will be asked to utilise your wealth of experience in conceptualising, modelling, and texturing to tell stories through beautifully crafted characters.

  • Be able to showcase some creative flare as well as displaying core fundamentals such as solid topology, UV's and texturing.
  • A deep understanding and knowledge in Maya and Zbrush plus a proven foundation in Photoshop would be excellent to see.
  • You should be able to display a folio with a wide range of examples demonstrating flexibility and a good eye for form, shape, composition and fun - we love nothing more than to see someone who loves their craft and enjoys what they do.
  • From a technical stand point a good working knowledge of Unreal and Unity as well as experience using Marvelous Designer and/or scan development pipelines is beneficial.
