*****nope. not that. ^^^ Had to roll back graphics driver. Nvidia graphics card. That finally did the trick.





Sorry, I don't know what to call this. I haven't been able to find any other reports of this. This is how brush strokes get applied. Also these little pixelated dots randomly appear and vanish as I zoom in and out.

I am using the latest version. Graphics card driver up to date. Mesh is clean, coming from Maya 2018 as an fbx. Only one UV set. There is no baking or any additional resources involved. I've tried both the standard shader and the alpha test shader.

Mesh looks fine in Toolbag with textures from photoshop applied. Therefore, I believe this to be a bug within Substance Painter.

    well i read about some other issues that can arise from having older versions of the software on the same drive. I uninstalled SP2 from my steam library and now the latest version seems to be working fine.
