3dsMax Photogrammetry Assignment

I'll be trying to make this sword. while the sword is a simple model, i gotta keep alot of the texture and make sure it looks really good. I'll be posting updates as i go.

    I'll be starting with trying to make the texture for this in photoshop. Any recommendations or tips for me? it's my first attempt so anything at all is helpful.

    Use this image as a reference texture when modeling in 3ds max. That way you can keep true to image. Really looking forward to seeing your work!

    You shouldn't be starting with the texture, nor should you really be attempting to texture it in photoshop (unless your using Quixel suite). The workflow should begin with either a low poly, or a high poly, then unwrapping, baking and finally texturing of the object.
