Sketchfab Embedder not working!?

Hello, 
I am trying to add a sketchfab model into a post but it is impossible. I paste the URL but when I press Continue nothing happens. If I press Enter a dialog shows. Invalid URL. Am I copy and pasting the wrong URL?? I tried all of the options from Sketchfab but nothing seems to work.

Yes, sorry about this. Sketchfab changed their URL format. We're working with Vanilla to get this resolved as quickly as possible!

oh! ok, at least I know I am not going crazy or there is a problem with my sketchfab. I will post it when the problem is solved then. Thank you!

Any update on this? There is also no way around it with using HTML view right?

Hmm. If you take a URL like this:
https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/quill-sellsword-771d4a8c56c94396b23654997cc1cc48
and embed without the 3d- prefix in the middle there, you can at least get the embedder to do something just not the right something.

Well, Vanilla says they're pushing the updated plugin live any time now.

Good to hear! In the meantime I found a workaround. Twitter embed works and Sketchfab embed inside Twitter works here:https://polycount.com/discussion/comment/2676991/#Comment_2676991 Not a workaround for everyone but maybe something like that works also with Facebook.

Update. Sketchfab knows about the problem and are working on a fix. Vanilla Forums as well.

Sketchfab rep says "just wanted to confirm that embed fix for Vanilla forums is in works and should be released soon."

I was able to manually embed by removing the model name from the url.

Eg. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/771d4a8c56c94396b23654997cc1cc48

instead of https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/quill-sellsword-771d4a8c56c94396b23654997cc1cc48
