Image Enlarger/Resize software

Is there any good software that is dedicated to upscaling an image and it preserves all the details?

I heard of AI intelligence handling something of that nature. I am wondering if this is something already used in the cg industry.

I would give Photoshops preserve details 2.0 a try.
It does work fine for us here. Its in the resize menue --> resample.
