Recently I was approached by someone who wanted an art style similar to
this and while it's not in my focus, I wondered how do people texture/model it.
I figured that people modeled it straight on then do a basic base color texture, but how would you get the effect where you see all the edges of the polygon to show like that.
And the rendered lighting is something I'm confused about.
Would love to hear some input from any 3D artists who work in this style of their pipeline, I would love to listen to these artists because their art style is very endearing!

Texturing is USUALLY flat colors in the texture or vertex coloring.
